قمم هادئة: سلسلة وسائد إنديغو ماونتن

Project Overview

A meditative pillow collection inspired by East Asian ink wash painting and the serenity of nature. Designed to evoke peace and visual stillness, this series blends minimalist gradients with layered silhouettes of distant mountain ranges. Ideal for zen interiors, contemporary lounges, or wellness retreats, each cushion invites a moment of calm into daily living.

Graphic Design

Each pillow features hand-painted mountain landscapes in monochromatic indigo tones, fading softly into the fabric like mist through peaks. A flock of birds in graceful flight adds motion and symbolism—freedom, elevation, and harmony. The gradients are built with watercolour layering techniques, lending fluidity and atmospheric depth that echo traditional sumi-e and Chinese shan shui painting styles.

Challenges & Solutions

Challenges Faced:

  • Retaining the softness and gradient detail of watercolor on textured textiles

  • Achieving harmony between vast negative space and detailed visual elements

Solutions Implemented:

  • Employed high-definition sublimation printing on natural-fibre textiles to preserve tonal transitions

  • Balanced the composition with negative white space and bird silhouettes to guide visual flow

  • Created three-tier depth variations to allow flexibility for single cushion use or themed sets
